12.29.12 - Dayquil & Nyquil have been my best friends

It wasn't as busy as we thought it was going to be on Christmas Eve. I had the closing shift and it was deathly slow. All the managers were working and they practically kicked us out even when we didn't really finish our closing duties. They just wanted to get home to their families. I tried getting some of the cashiers to pull out earlier but the other closing supervisor (he's an IDIOT and lazy as hell!) said NO. :/ Well, because of him we were late! I ended up going outside (for some of our closing duties) and that's probably why my flu is still here!

My family doesn't celebrate Christmas. I woke up at my usual time (on days off) and my parents said that we were going to eat dim sum with my aunt. We were going to invite their whole family, but my uncle already went out to go fishing and my cousin had to work (he works at the airport). So it was just my parents, me, and my aunt.

We went to Hong Kong Islander which is the newest dim sum place. My neighbors work there and the owners are friends of my parents. The owners own 2 other dim sum places in the city, but for some reason my dad really likes this place. (It's not that much closer to where we live :P) OMG it was busy! We had a 45 minute wait! My mom told my dad we should go to one of the other places but my dad said no and he really wanted to eat there.

I couldn't taste anything >__>; which is quite sad because we tried new things and I have no idea if they were good or bad. After dim sum, we headed home. Mostly because I was dying (not really) and needed to go pass out. Which is what I did, before I did, I helped them set up the TV and laptop (my parents stream Chinese shows and I had to hook up the TV and their laptop so they could watch). 

Yep, that was what my Christmas was like.

Wednesday morning, the parents left and I was feeling like crap again. Went to work and I could not think straight. It wasn't slow and it wasn't busy but it was steady. Plus, we had almost everyone working. All the supervisors were working. And I was in charge of the department. Not good. My brain was foggy and I couldn't think straight. I couldn't hear well -_-; My manager took one look at me and said "Omg, go home! You're sick!" Lol! When it was my lunch time, I went home -_-; and passed out.

Thursday, I had opening shift. I was still pretty meh -_-; I took some Nyquil the night before and I really don't like taking it because I don't like feeling groggy. (Why I normally take Dayquil) For some reason I felt a lot better Thursday. So I stayed the whole day. 

Yesterday (Friday), omg -_-; I don't know what happened. It was like I got a round of the whole thing all over again! Because I felt like shit :( I called in and let my manager know. He understood, so that's good. I spent most of the day in bed. X_x; Yay me! 

Today, I have to go to work (closing shift). I'm still hacking up a lung -_-; and still congested like a mofo! It's been over a week since I got sick. :( This thing needs to go away as next week, I'll be on vacation. (Not much of one, just trying to use up my days) I'm so tired...I just want to sleep :(

12.23.12 - How am I sick?

Well, feeling worse today. I don't think I really noticed yesterday because I was busy running around. 

My brother and non-crazy grandma are also sick (in San Francisco). My dad is always saying things like "You're so young, why are you sick all the time? You must've eaten something!" I thought i was the only one they said that to but when my brother got sick, they said the same thing to him.

No, it's nothing I ate >_>; It's because we work in the public. I see over 100 customers a day. My brother, I think he sees less than how many customers I see, but he still works in the public too. 

So, RAWR on them! RAWR!

I'm thinking of starting up my journal (paper) again. I miss writing things out. 

12.23.12 - Could it be..?! o_O;

This week, work has been BUSY! No surprise at all! 

One of the cashiers needed to be counted out, so I counted her out. She had been out sick for the last couple of days and apparently she was still sick. How do I know? She coughed in my face 5 times, while I was counting her out. Would you be surprised to find out that I'm sick now too!!? Me, with my low immune system! I was feeling it on Wednesday AND Thursday but it came about yesterday.

I couldn't speak, I had a really bad sore throat, bad sinus congestion, fever, etc. You name it! So, I had to call into work. I didn't want to. Whenever I call in, I feel like they never believe me. Luckily, the one who answered was Rida. And she's super nice. I croaked into the phone that I was sick and couldn't come in. Then, I went back to bed. Lol! -_-; I called 4 hours in advance! Mostly cuz I couldn't sleep, then I totally passed out after I called in >_>;

Unfortunately, I couldn't call in today because I have a closing shift and closing by yourself is NO FUN AT ALL! ESPECIALLY now that we have less people working than we used to. I remember I used to close by myself all the time -_-; Anyway! My voice is still gone, I have some sort of weird cough thinger, still congested, and I had a fever in the morning.

All this, while it was CRAZY BUSY AT WORK!!!!! It was BUSIER THAN BLACK FRIDAY!!! WHAT!?!?!? You heard me! BUSIER THAN BLACK FRIDAY!!!! That's kind of sad (I think). But I think it goes to show that people don't want to shop on Black Friday any more. We had lines all day and I was running around the universe doing in-store pickups, passwords, and cash pulls. All the other supervisors were on the registers ringing up! 

My manager was working too (Actually, I think all the department managers worked today). He stayed in our department to help out cuz he saw that I was sick and had a hard time breathing and talking -_-;;; Lol! He had to answer all phone calls when I was DSC and no one else was around. That was kind of funny. :P

Anyway, we got out late today... I, literally, clocked out at 1158pm. -_-; I almost hit the 5-hour mark, which isn't good! Thank goodness I have a day off tomorrow. Also got my schedule for next week [unless someone plans on switching]

12.15.12 - Chocolate & Zines ♥

 I was in Walgreens (the store not the site),  looking for a quick Christmas gift for Sandy. I found some lipglosses in a set. Anyway, I was wandering around their holiday section HOPING and PRAYING to see if my favorite chocolate has been stocked yet. It only comes out during the holiday seasons ;__; I don't even know why. It's only a mint chocolate, but these are so good! I should buy them all! LOL! Alas, I bought 2. 

12.07.12 - Nom Nom...

It's that time again... the time to whip out the hot apple cider and Hot Cocoa/Hot Chocolate! ♥ 

This is my favorite Hot Chocolate brand. Land O Lakes. My favorite flavor is French Vanilla and the Irish Cream one... I couldn't find the Irish Cream one but I did find a Caramel one. O_o;

 This was a random purchase when I was at Target (where I got the hot chocolate). And it's quite delicious :P I love fruit punch flavored things...

12.05.12 - What's in my Bag? IIIBeCa Bag

This is my tentative Black Friday-reward purchase. 

What the heck do I mean? Tentative because I'm still unsure about this bag. It's beautiful and I do like it a lot but.... I'm unsure about it.

When I say Black Friday-reward purchase, I mean it. After all the crazy hours and etc of the week of Black Friday I wanted to get something as a treat for myself. And of course, it had to be a bag >_<; Mostly because the one I was using for awhile... decided to break ;__; (the black Ted Baker bag I loved and used until it's death <--one of the straps got caught  and tore X_x; )

Don't get mad at me for saying this... I really wanted to a Louis Vuitton Berkeley bag in the Damier Ebene print. But because it's ginormously spendy, I found some *cough* *cough* >__>;;; knockoffs on a site and tried purchasing it... Yeah I said TRIED. Let's just say the seller took my money and ran. Good thing I used paypal and filed a claim. So, yeah... that's what I get for doing that. Lol! So... I'm still waiting on that... It was $39 (shipping included)

So, I had been looking at this bag on Nordstrom's site and wanted to see it in person. My local Nordstrom's is a bit of a ways (30 minutes away) and I find that most of the time whenever I want to check something out from their site in person, they usually don't have it ;( 

But, I saw it!!! And I was like RAWR! The problem was... which color!? I, originally, planned on getting the black one but the Aqua Sky one caught my eye. Though, honestly, it doesn't look blue at all. It looks more of a mint green color. 

Since my point and shoot camera is being charged, I decided to use my SONY NEX-3 for these photos. I didn't edit any of these pix, so none of the coloring/brightness has been changed. I should've -_-; It's been a dreary day... :P

11.26.12 - Working on Thanksgiving & Black Friday weekend leads to shopaholic tendencies

Two more days...just TWO more days and this weekend will be over. What am I talking about? Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, and my very own Tragic Tuesday.

The parents came here on Wednesday night. I told them before that I was working on Thanksgiving. In fact, I volunteered to work on Thanksgiving because no one was going to be home but myself. I thought I'd just go to work. Two of the cashiers (luckily, it's people I get along with) also volunteered.

I didn't know that my manager (actually, ALL managers in all the departments and the store managers) was going to be there. 

I had made my Thanksgiving dinner early (on Wednesday). I baked a chicken and some potatoes and made some rice. Yep, that was it. Lol! I slept early so I could go to work at 8:45am on Thanksgiving day.

When I got to work, I noticed all the usual Black Friday barriers we put up every year, but I noticed the employee's side of the parking lot had a lot of cars; but no people in line. O_O; so I kind of panicked and thought I was late. It turned out that the other departments were there earlier to set up for our day.

11.11.12 - Oatmeal baths?

I think it's kind of funny that no one likes the new supervisor. I think she's okay. I think the other supervisors don't like her either because she's not going to close, ever. Which isn't fair. We, also, found out how she got promoted before me and the other supervisor that applied. Basically, favoritism and not from our side...but on the corporate side. Oh well...

Last week was kind of a bad week. I had a paid day off, but didn't get to have any fun because of my car. My car decided it didn't want to work on Monday. I had orders to ship off and was planning to go to the nearby "post office" (a tiny counter in the Bel-Air market a few blocks away). I planned on getting some almond milk too,  but my car didn't start. I tried a few times and it still didn't work.

I didn't know what to do, so I called the only person I knew that knew about cars. Edgar, my co-worker. I don't like people knowing where I live and now he does. Oh well... He came and checked it out and he said it sounded like something with my battery. He said it might have died. 

09.25.12 - Sleeping problems = shopping sprees

Okay, that title is false. Lol! But I didn't know what else to say. 

A week ago (?) Kawaii-Ya [forgot their site, but it's on their fb page] posted on their FB page that if you buy $20 worth of shtuff, you get 3 adorable sheets of Halloween stickers. Omg, have you been to their site? You can spend more than $20! That's what I did! -_-; 

I was having a bad day when I received it, but when I received it, I was super duper happy and excited. Funny how material things make you happy ;) Hehehe. Most of it's going to be used for my i+t store and my planner. All the deco tape is for my store and MOST of the stickers are for my planner. My planner is going to be so damned decorated! You might as well just call it a sticker book LOL

 Speaking of planners. I received my planners (yes two of them) from Yesstyle awhile ago. I purchased two of them. This one and a very plain one. (No adorable pix or anything...just text and ....that's it LOL) I had a hard time deciding which one I'm going to use and I planned on starting in October. I chose the overly cute one. Though, honestly, I think I should've chosen the plain one. It has more writing space.... and since it's the holiday season... I usually end up doing more things... Oh well! It's already too late since I've already started decorating them and adding the monthly tabs (you can kind of see it in the photo above).

I'm going to make my planner sickeningly cute! The one I'm using now is deathly boring. I don't decorate or use colorful pens. Why? It's ugly... But has a lot of room to write in. I can't color coordinate because of the paper. It smudges all gel pens, felt-tip pens, roller ball pens. So I'm just using a boring ballpoint pen. 

Shockingly, I've been using my planner religiously the past month. It helps me keep track of my bills, chores I have to do around the house since the parents aren't home, my store stuff, work stuff, etc. Though honestly, mostly things I have to do around the house. 

 I've been looking for a new wallet. The ones I have are too big or too small. I like the size of the long wallets but the ones I have are too clunky and chunky! 

I went to Nordstrom today and was debating on two wallets. This one [Ted Baker] and a Kate Spade one. Since they were displayed next to each other, I just shut my eyes and grabbed one. 

The Kate Spade one is a zip-around wallet. I don't really like those but it does keep everything secure. Not only was it a long wallet, it was also a little bigger (in height). I have a medium-sized bag and the long wallets already BARELY fit in my bag, so if I got that one... :/ I should just bring my wallet. 

The reason I chose this one is that the leather is soft. The  Kate Spade one was very structured and STIFF. As much as I liked the stiffness... I had a feeling I was going to have a hard time getting things out of my wallet. This wallet looks quite stiff but it's actually very squishy. Lol. It's not made out of cheap leather either, it's really nice. This is my 2nd Ted Baker wallet. The other one I have is clunky -_-;. This one... not so much. ^_^;

There were different designs. There was another one that reminded me of spring that I was deciding on... but I really liked this vintage-feel. I don't know... I just think it's beautiful. :P

09.22.12 - Random thoughts because I don't want to sleep ;)

As the title says... I don't want to sleep, so I just go through random web sites. I like trying to find indie comics. I would DIE to go to APE-con which is held in October (next month!) in San Francisco. I wonder if I can get the days off ;P

Anyway, I was looking through my webcomic lists that I haven't read in a LONG time. <--I should say I haven't read ANY webcomics in like years, but I have them bookmarked. It made me want to do webcomics again. I wanted to do a slice of life, almost daily thing like Johnny Wander. Honestly, my favorite webcomics are slice of life. 

Well, I was thinking that if I did this I'd have to commit to it and I'd have to learn to draw faster or do it digitally. The thing is, I'm not a digital artist. I like to do things traditionally. If I did that, I'd like to work on it as much as possible which means I'd want to work on it at work. That's really hard for me to do because I get distracted really easily and if people saw that I was drawing, they would bug me about it. 

Besides, I have my i+t stuff to work on. I, honestly, miss drawing comics. One of these days, I'll have to finish the prologue to [LIFE^2] after all... I only have 2 pages left to do and that's not including the cover. <--that makes me really sad because TWO PAGES! GAHHhhh! Why is it so hard?! ;( Why do I keep putting it off!?

Though, the [LIFE^2] story is harder for me to do because while the prologue is well-thought out; the rest of it is still in the "notes" stages. 

When I do my comics, I want people to be emotionally attached to them. I like heart-warming stories, I like stories that create different emotions in the readers.... *sigh* I really am babbling. I guess I should go to bed now...

09.09.12 - Updates and junk?

As of last Thursday, I'm the only Linda in our store. It's quite strange...since there's always another Linda. And this Linda is in the same department as me and has been there only a month before me. Well, she's gone now (got fired). 

Now, I won't hear the "Hi LindaS" or the different nicknames we get "Asian Linda" (that's me) or "White Linda" (that's her). etc. And since she does all the hiring... it'll fall back into my hands since I'm the backup person since I was the one who hired for our store before her. 

And I must say... her desk is a MESS! Her organization...is NOT organized! I couldn't find ANYTHING! Last week we had one new hire, next week there might be two. Ahh... I don't know. I was looking for all the paperwork and it took me FOREVER to find everything to make new hire packets. *sigh*

Next week (tomorrow), we have a new hire again. But my schedule was changed because of another supervisor who told my manager I wanted to close instead of having a mid-shift. It's true but if he puts me at mid-shift then I'll accept it. 

Anyway, he changed my schedule (what he thought he was going to do) because he wanted me to do all the new hire training but because of that supervisor... he had to change it. Because of that, my manager asked J to see if she could do the training. She's the only other person that has experience in training new hires. But she only did it for 6 months (I did it for 2 years). She doesn't like it and she doesn't remember how to do it. -_-;

So the problem was...calling the new hires to see what time they were supposed to come in. I didn't know when to schedule them. :/ But after contemplating for awhile... I just stuck to what we did last week, even if I couldn't be there.

That's all the work stuff (so far).

The parents have been away for 3 weeks now. (They're coming back to get things) My brother said that they might come back (fully) in October. I guess they're not done fixing that house they're working on. 

Anyway, ... the first day that they were fully gone... I went to take some photos with my camera at the nearby park :P As I was doing that... My aunt, who was out on a walk, saw me and joined me. We chatted and stuff... Anyway... here we go! The photos!

That week, our front yard was blooming with roses! We don't have bushes (yet) just a few sprouts here and there.

Amanda of Less than 3 Lacquer had a major sale on her nail polishes! So, I bought them O_o; I love them! ^_^;

Last week, when I was washing my car, I spotted this spider (people say it's a Black Widow) spinning it's prey into a web. Used my Panasonic camera again. I'm really getting a LOT of use out of this camera. There's only ONE photo I need to test out before I can decide on selling my SLR. But so far...so good.

These two amazingly beautiful sky photos were taken a few days ago when the weather was getting bipolar.  -__-; The day after this photo was taken, we had a thunder/lightning storm.

I'm kind of sad that that 3 weeks that they've been away I hadn't really gone anywhere. The only place I went to was San Francisco (read previous post). But... I wasn't in the mood. Or I was always thinking "oh, on my day off I'll go _____". But I end up not...

Last week, I had 3 days off. One was a paid day off. I was wondering what I should do. I was thinking of going to the mall just to walk around... but I ended up ONLY getting my hair chopped off and that's it -_-; The other days, I did regular chores and errands. But that Wednesday was supposed to be my day. I wanted to watch a movie but there was nothing out I wanted to see... and etc. I guess that's why I just decided to stay home.

I decided to go to the local Farmer's Market today, so I had to wake up super early (for me it's early :P). Usually, my aunt would want to go because her family doesn't take her places :/ So she'd be up for it. At around 830 AM, I called her to see if she wanted to go. She said "No" because she was on her way to San Francisco with my uncle. -_-;

Bah! Lol! I stayed home a little longer, then at 1030 am, I headed out....To make a long story short: I got lost 3 times and by the time I got there...it was closed. I wanted to go because we were out of vegetables :( So, I went to the nearby Asian Market and got some veggies. Sad, cuz it was more expensive...

I dunno. I went home and stuck them in the fridge... but I wanted to go buy something for some reason. So, I went to ULTA and ended up getting a Stila eyeshadow palette. I didn't know they were having their 21 (?) days of summer sale. So if you buy a certain amount from a certain brand, you get some sort of gift with purchase. Apparently, I was supposed to get a Stila freebie, but they ran out and they gave me a UDPP instead. I think I have like 10 of these (exaggeration, of course). I don't even need to buy any more UDPP! :P

Well... I guess that's it. I should try and blog more but... I dunno... Sometimes I feel in the mood to do it and other times I'm like "What!? I have a blog!?!?"

09.04.12 - Last minute trip to SF

I was completely FREE on Sunday. I didn't want to stay home or anything... so a few days before Sunday, I texted my friends to see if they wanted to go to San Francisco to hang out.

Since it was a last minute thing, one of them had other plans... but I got to hang out with Betsy :)

She was supposed to pick me up at 8am. I had a closing shift the night before and couldn't sleep very well [somehow that always happens! :P]. Woke up at 6 am and I was like "what!? It's not like I'm going to work! I can wake up at 7am!". But, once I wake up, I can't go back to sleep. So I just got up and took a shower.

When I was done with my shower, I got a text from Betsy saying she overslept (:P) so she'd probably get here at 9am. 

I decided to take that time doing some QUICK errands. Quick errands = going to the bank and taking some cash out [so I don't spend that much money RAWR] and buying some snacks/food for our trip to and from. 

Went home and waited... I didn't have to wait long. She arrived 15 minutes later. Lol.

I hadn't seen Betsy in like a year(?). So we were catching up in the car, which is kind of funny because we hadn't decided on where we were going yet ;D So, we were just driving and talking and when we got to the Bay Bridge was when we realized we didn't have a destination yet! Lol

 The weather report had said it was going to be 75 degrees. Which is quite shocking since it's almost always 60 degrees. Once we got to the Bay Bridge, there was a ton of thick fog. No surprise there ;P

08.17.12 - My favorite time of year :)

Lately, during my lunch breaks, I haven't been napping. I usually nap right after I eat and my naps take about 10 minutes. Anyway, I don't know what's been going on with my sleeping habits lately... Basically, I can't sleep. Even at home. I can't take naps either.

Actually, today was the first (last night??? whatever) time I slept in 3 days. -_-; But more on that later!

So, because I have so much time left in my lunchbreak, I've been playing games on my phone. 

I love the DELICIOUS EMILY series (EMILY DELICIOUS?). So far, there's only two games and of course these are time management games. I finally beat TURBO SUBS...

This is the first game out of the two. I've played this 4 times already. This time, I'm playing on the hard level. Let me say it IS more difficult!

07.25.12 - Farewell old friend...

Man, I haven't blogged in awhile! >_< I think it's cuz I was on a drawing kick. I'm still in that mood to draw a lot but I wanted to finish up some things first. 

Last night, I made 3 colors that I've run out of. I had to re-formulate two of them. But, I tried to make them as close as possible to the originals...

It was also time to re-do my old swatch photos. I spent all day doing that today. I kept getting interrupted.. :P So, I deleted them from my facebook page and posted the new ones. I also updated the photos in my store.

But that's not what this post is about. 

Last Friday was Pao's last day at our store. ;__; I was so sad. He was the one that did my interview so long ago! He was always there for me and he was always my favorite supervisor (when I was a cashier and a supervisor). So, I was quite sad... He sent all the supervisors a mass email and made sure we printed it out for our cashiers to read too.

Anyway, before he left he said that he was having a farewell dinner at Carino's. I'd never been there before and had to find a way to go without pissing off the evil ones. 

I've not been in the best of moods. I've been having some extreme emotional problems lately (err it's called depression, lady). Usually, what gets me out of my funk is playing games that'll distract me and make me concentrate. 

When I had my Android phones, I had downloaded this game. I really loved it. My fave type of games are time management games and of course, this one is too. 

What you have to do is basically fill their orders as fast as you can. In this screenshot, I did on my phone... I'm on level 55 and I was losing LOL! It gets faster and faster and the "customers" are more and more impatient so their wait time is less than what it is in Level 1. Plus, they're demanding more things and you have to hurry and pick up the money or else the thief will steal your money. 

06.22.12 - Scars and White Shirts

A week ago, I was craving for a tuna sandwich. >_< It was a VERY strong craving. Ever since I found out I was allergic to seafood, pork, and beef... I've been craving for those things. Especially pork which is WEIRD because I didn't realize how much pork we used to have. I think it's because my mom always mixed it in things so you don't really notice? Maybe?

I feel kind of bad because now all of our meals have to be separated. Usually, we just fling them all together but because of my allergies, my food has to be made separately. We use a lot of oyster sauce and now I can't have it. 

Anyway, so that day my STRONG craving for a tuna sandwich made me weak... cuz I got one from the cafe at work. X_x; Next thing you know, I had rashes on my body. Not a lot... but enough to make me feel uncomfortable.

But I must've scratched in my sleep or something because now I have a big patch of rash scars. I was surprised since I don't remember scratching. But like I said, I probably scratched in my sleep... It's like when you get mosquito bites... sometimes you just scratch them in your sleep. I know I do.

I'm lactose intolerant. I can handle a TEEENY TINY bit of dairy, like in a candy bar or something. But in most things, I can't. 

Anyway, I noticed that when I DO have a teeny tiny bit of dairy (aka chocolate cuz of my unhappy moods lately)... My eczema flares up. It doesn't just get a teeny bit itchy. Omg no, I get SUPER DUPER itchy! In fact, I think I get more itchy than when I have my allergic-reaction-rashes. X_x;

Onto other news, my brand new white shirt is ruined. *sigh* Isn't that how it always is? White shirts just attract all the things you don't want on them. The same thing happened to me a week ago (?). I was doing a cash pull and leaned against the safe... TAADAAA!!! BLACK GREASE STAINS!!

This makes me REALLY sad because #1) It's a NEW shirt!!!!!! #2) I ACTUALLY LIKE IT!!! X___x; I liked it enough to buy one in a different color!  #3) It makes me feel thinner (I dont' think it makes me LOOK thinner but it makes me FEEL thinner :P~)

I'm going to try to get it off. It's not as much as the other one... there's a smear on my boob and on my hip-area. :/ And because it's JET BLACK grease, it's quite noticeable.

I was bored two hours ago... There was no one to talk to online, nothing to read or watch... so I decided to stock up on two of my shades. I was going to do 3 but my eyes got tired. Since my supplier doesn't make some of the ingredients I needed any more... I re-formulated those two colors instead. 

I also made a list of what I needed to stock up on (err... re-make so I would have enough to sell). I need to make (as of now) 17 shades. So much fun.

When I got home from work, I don't know what happened. I just suddenly wanted to write down some new ideas for colors.

Then, it turned out that I wanted to create a whole new collection. It makes me sad because I still haven't finished the Lurvlies and I haven't decided on any colors for the BR collection yet. X_x; 

Well, this new collection has 23 colors and it's literally all planned out already. The colors are all planned out (I had some super inspiration or something!) and the names are too. I wrote it all down.

The sad part is... I have names for the BR collection (I believe it'll be 19 shades) but I haven't decided on colors yet. 

Ugh,.. I'm rambling and my eyebulbs are wanting to shut :P

06.18.12 - Damn allergies

The weather here has been kind of....NUTS lately. The last two days have been CRAZY hot. Last night, the weather cooled down dramatically! Today, it's quite cool. But because of the winds, my allergies are acting up making my eyes feel kind of weird.

Anyway, I finished one of my bust-shot commissions and shipped off all my latest i+t orders so I decided to work on my other commissions (I have two more). 

I'm quite irritated that my schedule has changed the last two weeks (last week and this week). My days off were different and next week too. I had a closing shift yesterday. Before I went to work, I told myself to do the pencils for my latest commission and I did. I brought it to work to ink on my lunch break. 

On my lunch break, I was glad to see that no one had lunch with me, so that I could concentrate on drawing. I get distracted VERY easily and if someone watches me draw, I get VERY nervous. I was doing well for 30 minutes and then someone had to sit with me and talk to me non-stop. *sigh* I was a little irritated, but whatever. It did wreck my concentration :/ and I couldn't finish it ;_;

Here it is. I finished inking it this morning. Since my eyes are being weird, I don't plan on coloring it yet, maybe tomorrow. I'm going to figure out how to color GRADIENT hair because this person's original character has gradient hair. 

It's only June and I can't believe it's so hot already. It's going to be 103 on Saturday *falls over and dies*. Even if I've lived in Chico (almost same weather as here) and here for... 10+ (wow really?) years, I still can't get used to the weather! I want my Bay Area weather damnit! Where it's 60+!!!! ;__; 

In fact, let's compare temperatures right now :P
