05.18.13 - This May, I became obsessed with many things -_-;

My internet has been really crappy lately. When I say crappy, I mean DIAL-UP is better than what I have. My parents didn't notice it much, but I noticed it. I thought it was just because of how far my room is compared to where our router is located. Nope, even the desktop which is connected to the router is going stupidly slow too. 

So, I've been thinking and looking around for different internet providers. Our area doesn't allow for regular DSL or cable internet (stupid, right?) We have fiberoptics. Unfortunately for us, only one company is able to do it in our area. Another unfortunate thing is...it's quite expensive.

Lately, I've been thinking of trying out Clearwire. Supposedly, they have it in our area. We have representatives at our store everyday so it makes me wonder if employees will get a discount and if the internet will be faster. It's a little more expensive (by $5) but it should work for us. I'll have to talk to some of our sales people about it first. See what happens or whatever...

All the things I need to do, [real estate license studying, my online store, and basic...internet thingers :P] just aren't cutting it. This is also why I haven't been blogging. 

Anyway, onto things I'm obsessing over. And yes, the Clearwire thing was one of the obsessions. I've been thinking about it for the last few months.

01.28.13 - What's in my Bag (and review)?

It's time for another 'What's in my Bag?' post. Though, this will be kind of a review also. 

Let's go with some background information. In late September 2012, I was browsing through YesStyle's site and was looking through all of their bags. I came across this bag, the Push Locket Satchel and waited another month before I purchased it. I bought it on October 13, 2012. I received it on November 1, 2012. I know it took awhile but they are shipping from Hong Kong which I know takes awhile.

When it got here, I was supremely excited. I was playing with it (not really, I was trying to figure out how to shape it into a bag since it arrived flat) and my friend wanted to see a picture of it. As I took a photo for her, the top handle broke O_O;;; Imagine my shock! I was quite sad about that because I was super excited about this bag. It's the perfect size, it's made out of a sturdy material; but the studs/screws/whatever that held the top handle together was not! It made me really sad because I waited so long and the top-handle was what I planned to use the most.

Anyway, I emailed them back and they told me to ship it back to them. 

I was in a huge rush and forgot to get a delivery confirmation number, but I was like "Oh! They told me to return it some place in California. I'm in California, it won't take long!" About a month later, I emailed them asking about my return, why wasn't I notified that they received it yet. According to them, they said they hadn't received it. O_O;; Umm... what?!

So, I was out $25. (It was on sale at the time) I gave up all hope. But near the end of December, I suddenly got a $7.99 credit to my YesStyle account. No explanations why. So I just shrugged it off. A week ago (yes ONE WEEK ago), I received an email from YesStyle saying my order was shipped. Umm.. what? I didn't order anything. There was no tracking number so I didn't know when it was going to arrive. But I also thought maybe they were just updating their system clicking on "I've shipped this item" when they did it months ago. 

It arrived a few days later. I was like "WHAT!?" I tested it out and banged it around (lol) and it feels more sturdy than the previous one I received. 

So, TAA DAA! Here it is in all it's glory! Please excuse the crap lighting. I was using my SLR and the flash is super strong so I decided to just keep it off. 

 Doesn't it remind you of the old time doctor bags? It's a medium sized bag made of thick faux-leather. It's very stiff and sturdy. But it's not heavy. 

05.27.12 - Random thoughts

I'm a total bag whore @_@; 

When I saw the Celine Phantom bags, I was like wtf. But, for some reason...the Celine Luggage Nano really appealed to me. (I'm too lazy to include pix here). But I don't want it. I was just talking about the shape of the bag and I liked the size.

So I was thinking, OMG those days when I wanted to learn to sew and bought a bunch of fabric... I CAN USE THEM NOW! Yeah... Maybe I'll sew a bag O_O; just for fun. It's just going to be a mini-tote/shopper bag. I can't explain it. But, I thought it'd be cute. Just for fun. I can't sew very well, but *shrugs*

Yeah, I might end up doing that on my day off tomorrow(today?).

Went to work today (closing shift). I only said "Hi" to Linda C. and suddenly she looks at me and looks like she's going to cry "I hate how your family treats you"....all she said was that and I started bawling my eyes out. I've been trying so hard not to cry this past week but the last few days I've just been crying. 

People in my department saw... -_-; and I ran and hid in a corner (no joke). I tried calming down but then suddenly, it came out again...big heaving sobs X_x; So embarassing. After about 20 minutes, I finally calmed down and tried to distract myself/busy myself by checking my work emails and making the closing duties list. 

I guess Linda C. felt bad for me and bought me lunch. Lol. But the only thing I wanted was pot stickers. X_x; Unfortunately, it has pork in it...but my rashes were there anyway because of the pot luck [had some other stuff I was allergic to but didn't know X_x; ]. So I was like SCREW IT! I'll get some pot stickers! I have rashes already! And they were good. Nom nom! :D~

Of course, I'm quite itchy now :D~ Good thing I refilled my prescription LOL

It was quite slow today... Sandy spent it making sure people were going to my birthday dinner. She texted me an hour ago saying that we have 40!!!! people going X_x; How did it get to be so many!? How is the restaurant going to accommodate us?! Are we going to close it down for them because of how many people we have!? I feel so bad. But, I don't think all 40 people are actually going. They say they ARE FOR SURE, but honestly, I don't think they will.

I feel kinda bad for my friend who doesn't know any of these people. All the people that were invited [even the ones I don't really talk to/know] are employees of the place I work at or former employees. My friend is coming from Chico (1 1/2 hours north) where I used to live. X_x; But she said she'll be there.

I'm going to bring my camera and take pix like a mad woman :P

My friend finally replied to my text about us going to SF. She said she's still up for it. I told her that I had made some TEMPORARY plans because I wasn't sure if we were still going cuz she didn't tell me she was going to leave the state. Anyway, I told her that we can go. But she tells me "...don't change your plans on my account, cause my schedule is crazy busy." To me, it sounds like she didn't even want to go. I know it doesn't look like it to you but...she's done this to me MANY MANY MANY times before. *sigh*

I haven't decided what I'll do. I mean, I want to do the comic thing but I want to go to SF too. I know it's not far (1 1/2 hours away), but my car is stupid and can't handle a long drive. X_x; I dunno...

I'm hoping the parents aren't home tomorrow. I need to RELAX -_-; My nerves are going crazy! 

04.15.12 - My loves this month...and what's on my desktop

I haven't done a blog post on here in awhile. So I shall include what I've been loving this month.

Boys Before(Over?) Flowers the Korean drama.

If you know me, I don't really watch Korean dramas. I watch Japanese ones. Or at least, I try to. I mainly watch Japanese ones because I took Japanese for 4+ years and because I don't use it on a daily basis, I'm losing it ;( I don't even watch Japanese dramas all the time. Mostly because I don't know where to watch them. Lol! 

01.10.11 - What's in my bag?

Oh, nostalgia (not really ;P). About 2 1/2 years ago, I saved like a MOFO to get my first Juicy Couture bag. It took me about 4 months (lol!), cuz I did it slowly. I really wanted this bag. I saw it at Nordstrom but by the time I went to purchase it, it wasn't in the Nordstrom store any more. *cries* 

But, I went across the way where there's a Juicy Couture stand alone store and TAA DAAA!!! There it was! I was soooooo excited and soooooooooo happy.

01.09.11 - *sneeze* X_x;

My "titles" for posts are awesome. I need to start "tagging" my posts now too... so it's easier to go through. I think...

I'm being lazy right now. I was filling out my planner, but I was like... I want to blog instead ;D I'll probably do it after this post. 

After work on Saturday, I wasn't tired at all. So I stayed up until ...3AM!!!!!!!!!! Watching a bunch of IMPROV EVERYWHERE's MP3 experiments! [<--Click for example] Those were awesome. I don't know why I never watched those. That's not true, I watched one (I think their first one) and I was deathly bored. But the most recent ones are pretty awesome. So awesome that I want to participate in one! Lol!. I love IMPROV EVERYWHERE btw. I follow their youtube and blog. Anyway, I woke up late (I always wake up late on my days off, but I meant that I woke up later than usual) yesterday... and after I showered and such, I was pumped to do what I planned on doing. 

Coloring April's drawing. April is a co-worker and her and I are sharing an art table at the local anime convention that's happening this coming weekend. [That is...if someone will switch with me! Ugh! I keep asking :/ But no one's replied]

I decided I wanted to use my NEOPIKO markers since DELETER [people who make NEOPIKO] were going to be there. I know, total product placement ;D~ April told me she used the same pens I use to ink [Sakura Microns]... and when I started to color... I was HORRIFIED to see that NEOPIKOs smudge like a mofo with Microns! At first I was like "nah! It's probably cuz it's a new formula or whatever" and I tried to give every excuse I could think of... but no. My beloved NEOPIKOs don't work with Microns. The COPICs do.... 

 Here's the full drawing. I was recording as I was coloring it (so I'd finally have a video to upload). I always start coloring the skin first. But then the inks started to bleed and I was horrified!
