06.09.13 - RIP Former Filofax Dividers...

As the title says, I'm retiring my Filofax dividers that were currently in my Filofax. Why? I decided that I'd like to be able to use one planner. Sure, I have a few other Filofaxes but I'll be using them for other things.

The new planner I'm using is the Gillio and as it's said above, I'd like to have most of my stuff in this one. If I spent that much money on it, heck yeah! Lol! Because of that, I had to make new dividers. (Will do a future post on this). But this post is about me retiring my former dividers!

When I first made these dividers, this was a week after I got my first Personal sized Filofax. All I did was use the included Filofax dividers and my label maker and that was it.  

As you can see, it's not just the divider and the label. About two months ago (?), I received my stationery order and apparently the notepads I bought (a LOT!) were of the same designs. So I decided to use them for my dividers. All I did was cut them to size and glued them on. Some, I added washi tape. But most of the time they were just glued on. 

It's also because I knew they would be my temporary ones. 

Anyway, here's the first divider... 

06.05.13 - Vacation/Birthday haul (Image Heavy)

OMG! I'm posting again! What's wrong with me?!? No, truth is I should be sleeping but I just can't. I just got home and it was a stressful day and I thought I'd blog a bit to feel better. 

Today was my first day back from vacation. I had a closing shift. It wouldn't be a problem if: #1) I wasn't the only one closing #2) I haven't had a closing shift in almost two months and forgot how to close *nods* <--so much fun! #3) We didn't have enough associates!

I thought it was quite funny that once I got to work, M.L. was like "OMG!!! Thank goodness you're here!!!!" O_O;; Apparently, me and her were the only scheduled supervisors to work that day! WHAT!? She opened and I had closing... My former manager [he finally got promoted to Assistant Store Manager!!!! YAY!!!] took over when M.L. and I were scheduled for lunches. 

Anyway, after M.L.'s exclamation, I was summoned by a customer for a "chat" which turned out to be a wonderfully long screamfest IN MY FACE!!!! -_-; Awesome. 

ANYWAY! Let's get on with happy stuff! :P MOST of the stuff I got for my birthday and my shopping trip with Bex.

09.25.12 - Sleeping problems = shopping sprees

Okay, that title is false. Lol! But I didn't know what else to say. 

A week ago (?) Kawaii-Ya [forgot their site, but it's on their fb page] posted on their FB page that if you buy $20 worth of shtuff, you get 3 adorable sheets of Halloween stickers. Omg, have you been to their site? You can spend more than $20! That's what I did! -_-; 

I was having a bad day when I received it, but when I received it, I was super duper happy and excited. Funny how material things make you happy ;) Hehehe. Most of it's going to be used for my i+t store and my planner. All the deco tape is for my store and MOST of the stickers are for my planner. My planner is going to be so damned decorated! You might as well just call it a sticker book LOL

 Speaking of planners. I received my planners (yes two of them) from Yesstyle awhile ago. I purchased two of them. This one and a very plain one. (No adorable pix or anything...just text and ....that's it LOL) I had a hard time deciding which one I'm going to use and I planned on starting in October. I chose the overly cute one. Though, honestly, I think I should've chosen the plain one. It has more writing space.... and since it's the holiday season... I usually end up doing more things... Oh well! It's already too late since I've already started decorating them and adding the monthly tabs (you can kind of see it in the photo above).

I'm going to make my planner sickeningly cute! The one I'm using now is deathly boring. I don't decorate or use colorful pens. Why? It's ugly... But has a lot of room to write in. I can't color coordinate because of the paper. It smudges all gel pens, felt-tip pens, roller ball pens. So I'm just using a boring ballpoint pen. 

Shockingly, I've been using my planner religiously the past month. It helps me keep track of my bills, chores I have to do around the house since the parents aren't home, my store stuff, work stuff, etc. Though honestly, mostly things I have to do around the house. 

 I've been looking for a new wallet. The ones I have are too big or too small. I like the size of the long wallets but the ones I have are too clunky and chunky! 

I went to Nordstrom today and was debating on two wallets. This one [Ted Baker] and a Kate Spade one. Since they were displayed next to each other, I just shut my eyes and grabbed one. 

The Kate Spade one is a zip-around wallet. I don't really like those but it does keep everything secure. Not only was it a long wallet, it was also a little bigger (in height). I have a medium-sized bag and the long wallets already BARELY fit in my bag, so if I got that one... :/ I should just bring my wallet. 

The reason I chose this one is that the leather is soft. The  Kate Spade one was very structured and STIFF. As much as I liked the stiffness... I had a feeling I was going to have a hard time getting things out of my wallet. This wallet looks quite stiff but it's actually very squishy. Lol. It's not made out of cheap leather either, it's really nice. This is my 2nd Ted Baker wallet. The other one I have is clunky -_-;. This one... not so much. ^_^;

There were different designs. There was another one that reminded me of spring that I was deciding on... but I really liked this vintage-feel. I don't know... I just think it's beautiful. :P

Well, that's all for now! I forgot I had to open tomorrow. Somehow, that always happens -_-;

10.07.11 - ♥ STATIONERY COLLECTION PART I: Memo pads & misc items ♥

I've been having some major female pains. I usually don't get them but for some reason they're pretty bad. So bad that I called in to work -_-; Bad, I know. But you must understand that on Fridays and Saturdays the other supervisors (I'm a supervisor) at work are EXTREMELY lazy because our department manager has his days off on these days. So, that means [I'M not lazy because I can't be!] I have to run around the whole department and our department is not small. :/ I didn't want to have to deal with that so... I called in.

I was talking to my friend Strawberry Milk and I was thinking about doing a kawaii stationery collection. I don't know if she's going to do it but I thought I would ;) 

I have a lot of stationery. That's because when I was in high school, I started to penpal. I had over 100 penpals and I didn't like writing on regular boring paper. I found kawaii stationery and started collecting them! So my collection is 10+ years old. Most of them were purchased when I moved to Chico. Chico is 3 hours away from where I used to live (we still have a house there) and my kawaii stationery mecca. I had no entertainment in Chico. I didn't drink, we didn't have TV, no internet, nothing. So, I wrote letters. I used to get 5 letters a week :) It was so much fun. I swapped FB's too. etc.... 

Anyway, whenever we would go to SF (to visit family or whatnot), I would stock up on stationery. Soon, my penpals started dwindling down and I would have no one to write to. So, I still have all that stationery @__@; *cough* 

OKAY! Let me go on with the collection. I'm going to start off with my memo pad collection. I don't really like memo pads/notebooks because I get bored of them easily. :P These were purchased about 7 years ago
