05.25.12 - Whining and an asshole customer :P

I've been whining so much lately. I really don't mean to. But it's my form of therapy. X_x; More whines to come :P

I'm thankful that all these people want to go to my birthday dinner. I'm thankful that a lot of people are helping me set it up, so that I don't have to do it. I really am grateful for that. I'm happy that you're trying to help me every way that you can and supporting me...

But... why are you inviting all these people to my birthday dinner that I don't know or talk to?

----

Last month, my other friend and I planned on going to SF together 2 days after my birthday. We haven't hung out in awhile... She said she'll take it down on her calendar.

So why am I getting all these FB statuses about her being in another state for a few weeks? :/ I texted her and asked her if we were still going and if not, I understand...but no answer.

----

Before I got home, my brother texted me warning me to be careful when I get home cuz Dad was mad. My brother says the dumbest things that tick off my Dad all the time. I know he doesn't mean it, but he words it in ways that sound very rude. X__x; Yep, once I got home... I got bitched at because of him. :/

----

In other good news! (?) I saw a co-worker I haven't seen in awhile [she works part time and her schedule changed so I don't see her any more unless she switched days with someone else or she's scheduled for that day] and she said I lost a lot of weight. Unfortunately, it's true. I think it's very unhealthy cuz I think I dropped 2 sizes because of the stress...and in a VERY small amount of time. -_-; It's good cuz I'm quite overweight, but losing weight that fast...is not good. It's only happened 2 other times. That other time when we were moving from Chico to here and the time when I had to go on that "liquid / soft food diet" because of the temporary bridge I got from the dentist. (Couldn't eat solids for over a month!)

We also had a pot luck today at work. I don't know why, but whenever I go to something that looks really yummy... it turns out SUPER DUPER spicy (well, for me it's super duper spicy since I can't really handle spicy foods. So if it's mild to some people, it'd probably kill me :P). I was dying! Lol!

I, also, FINALLY, finished my long letter swap for swap-bot. Yay! I just sent it. It literally took me a month to write. I put it off a lot. I usually write really long letters BUT if it's an introduction-type letter, I don't know what to say. I ended up talking about my days and what I did. Since I have a very uninteresting life... it took forever for my letter to be finished. :P

I miss writing letters. I used to write letters really fast! It was my form of entertainment. I didn't watch TV, internet didn't interest me... I only read, listened to music, and wrote my penpals. But since postage went up drastically... :/ I stopped. Plus, I just couldn't bring myself to write letters any more. I really don't know why.

I just got home... I'm kind of tired. OH YEAH!

I got yelled at by a customer today! YAY!!!! *extreme sarcasm* I love being a supervisor *extreme sarcasm*.

First, this customer cut in front of another customer who was in line >__>;;; Luckily THAT customer didn't mind and found it amusing. We have someone that directs people to available registers and I was over there because the cashier (that was directing people) was asking me a question... and she told guy #1 to go to a certain register...and Mr Mean charges over "I'm here to pick up my phone!"
Cashier: Yes, you'll have to wait for an available register. *to guy #1*: Go to register #23
Mr. Mean CHARGES over to register #23
Cashier: O_O;;; Uh... X_x; Sorry...
Guy #1: :P That's okay...

I guess that cashier was ringing him up for two cellphone activations. We have a new requirement where we have to have a credit card authorization when anyone does a wireless activation. The customer was paying cash. The cashier calls over a supervisor because they needed a password to let the activation happen. Then, the customer gave cash. There's a pop up that says "we need a credit card authorization". So they ask the customer for a credit card...

HE. THREW. A. FIT!!!!!!

X__x; He screamed that he was paying with cash and why does he need to use a credit card. *sigh*. Kevin (the supervisor that was there), called me over to help.

HE. THREW. ANOTHER. FIT!!!!!

Mr. Mean: HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES IT TAKE TO RING ME UP FOR A FUCKING CELLPHONE!?!?!?

I mean, really? Do you have to scream it? None of us were being rude to him, I don't understand why all the screaming and anger.

So, I explained to him since Kevin didn't really know about the credit card auth. thing. that we needed to do a credit card authorization for ANY activation.

HE. THREW. ANOTHER. FIT!!!!

Basically, he screamed at me demanding to know why I needed his credit card. I told him that we aren't going to charge him and that YES I KNOW YOURE PAYING WITH CASH!!! AND NO I WONT CHARGE YOU! It's just asking for a credit card authorization! *sigh*

After repeating it 20 times (no joke), he THREW his credit card AT me. Since his damned card was old... it didn't swipe very well. So we had to swipe it 3 times.

HE. THREW. A BILLION FITS!1!!

Mr Mean: DO YOU KNOW HOW TO FUCKING SWIPE A CREDIT CARD!??!
Me: ...
Mr Mean: Why are you swiping it SO MUCH!?
Me: Sir, the magnetic strip on the back is worn so it's not swiping very well
Mr. Mean: YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!!!! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO SWIPE CREDIT CARDS!!!! WHY THE FUCK DO YOU NEED A CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION!?!?
Me: Our system is asking for it and it won't allow the transaction to go through without it
Mr Mean: YOUR FUCKING SYSTEM SUCKS! YOU SHOULD BE FIRED
Me: ...

Transaction was done... the cashier tells him to sign the terms and conditions for the cellphone.

HE. THREW. A . FIT!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Mean: YOU FUCKING BITCH CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD!!!!!!!
Me: *POINTING AT THE THING* It's the TERMS & CONDITIONS!!!
Mr. Mean: *signs and mutters angrilly about who knows what...SNATCHES the bag*
Me: I, apologize, for all the trouble.
Mr. Mean: FUCK OFF BITCH
Me: ...

YAY! All the customers that were in our department and all the employees in our department were like WTF. :) That was exciting. Usually, people like that make me cry. But, he was just so ridiculous that I didn't bother shedding any tears for that idiot.

*nods* In fact, I find it quite amusing now.

EVERYONE heard me explain about the credit card authorization! Even some customers stopped me and were like "I don't understand what he couldn't understand! You were clear and polite! I don't know why he kept yelling at you." Lol. So that made me feel better ^_^;;;

Ahh,....what a day ^_^;

  1. He must have been on drugs or something. Crazy.

At least there was the perk of losing weight! Upside?

BTW I think your make up blog will be successful b/c you're informative & take good photos... & your skin color is perfect for swatches!

    1. Lol! He could've been on drugs!!!! We get a lot of those types of customers. I haven't had to deal with one in awhile. Some are strange and say the dumbest things that make us go "wtf" and some seriously piss you off. But, unfortunately, we have to do our job and please our customers esp since you're a supervisor. :(

But it's true what someone said that it should be a requirement where EVERY SINGLE PERSON should have to work in customer service for a month or something.

Lol my skin color is totally not perfect for swatches. I try to take good photos. it's quite difficult. It helps that I LOVE MACRO photography, so I have a macro lens. ^_^; Though, I don't think it's that good (my lens).
